Identity of masked man on WWE SmackDown; AEW star shaved bald; Danhausen update

The masked man that was unmasked on Friday’s WWE SmackDown by Logan Paul is Don Furio, who is a student at Seth Rollins’ Black & Brave Pro Wrestling School. It is more than likely Furio was used as a decoy and the angle will continue.

Furio has also wrestled in the past on AEW programming under the name of Donovan Izzolena.

AEW’s Johnny TV was shaved bald Friday, after losing a hair vs. hair match against Angel del Oro the CMLL event on Friday.

As of Saturday, Danhausen has now officially been removed from AEW’s roster page.

There has been speculation he is the mystery person inside the crate that has been part of backstage segments on WWE Raw and SmackDown. The big reveal will take happen during Saturday’s Elimination Chamber at the United Center in Chicago.

Danhausen signed with AEW in early 202. His appearances were sporadic at best. In August of last year, it had been reported he asked for his release and was turned down, only to have time added on his contract for missing time while recovering from a torn pectoral muscle. He last appeared at ROH Final Battle 2024.
