Another Indian cricket star, Rahul Dravid, recently achieved his dream of winning a world championship. As one of the best batters in the game, he ended his time as the head coach of the Indian men’s cricket team with a victory in the 2024 T20 World Cup.

I’ve never been part of a World Cup as a player in India, but just the experience as a coach, going from city to city and seeing how much this game means to the people of this country, was amazing. It was truly incredible,” Dravid said.
India made it to the final of the competition by winning 9 games in a row, but they lost to Australia in the championship match.
“I believed we had an amazing run. We stumbled in the final, and Australia played better cricket than we did that day. They were the stronger team, and I want to congratulate them. This kind of thing can happen in sports, and that’s what makes sports exciting,” Dravid said.
