India U-19 Women cricket team secured a historic Asia Cup Victory

India U-19 Women clinched the inaugural Asia Cup. Team India defeated Bangladesh women by 41 runs. Gongadi Trisha became the architect of the victory. Trisha has scored a scintillating half-century and caught the opponent with her bowling prowess.

India U-19 Women Win First Asia Cup Title

India’s U-19 women’s team secured a win in the first ever Women’s Asia Cup. India claimed the title trailing Bangladesh by 41 runs in Kuala Lumpur on Sunday. Gongadi Trisha’s match-winning 52 runs and a stellar bowling effort sealed the victory.

Trisha’s Exceptional Performance

Bangladesh has won the toss and decided to bowl first. While batting first India posted the target of 117/7 in 20 overs. Trisha’s 52 runs off 47 balls lead to a decent target. Mithila Vinod’s 17 off 12 and Aayushi Shukla’s 10 off 13 helped India to reach the defensive target. Bangladesh’s Farjana Easmin shone with the ball and claimed 4/31.

India’s Bowling Dominance

India’s bowlers outperformed Bangladesh. They restrict Bangladesh to just 76 runs in 18.3 overs. Ayushi shukla took 3 wickets, while Sonam Yadav and Parunika Sisodia chipped in with two wickets each. Despite resistance from Juairiya Ferdous and Fahmodia Choya, Bangladesh’s efforts fell short.
