India A women’s team will face Australia A women’s team in the Only unofficial Test being played at the Gold Coast, from August 22. Indian bowlers have already managed to steal the show as they bowled out the whole Australian team for just 212 runs. Captain Minnu Mani and Priya Mishra took 9 of the wickets themselves, Taking 5 and 4 wickers respectively. Mannat Kashyap was the one to take the final wicket.
Priya Mishra delivered a fantastic performance which included a five-wicket game in the third ODI against Australia A Women. She worked as a turning point for India as it was because of her consistent game skills that helped India break their losing streak with a reassuring victory in the final ODI.
Though Indian team lost a wicket early in the match, but they made a comeback and posted 100 runs with the loss of another wicket, making the score 100/2 by the end of day 1. Shweta Sharma and Tejal Hasabnis will be standing on the field. Sejal will continue her game from 40 runs and Tejal will continue from 31. Both of them would be looking forward to take India into a much higher position on Day 2 and gain a good lead.
