Tuesday marked the first practice session for the Indian men’s cricket team under the guidance of their new head coach, Gautam Gambhir. This practice session was conducted just ahead of the squad’s three-match T20 International (T20I) series against Sri Lanka.
Leadership on the Ground
Gautam Gambhir, who took over as head coach following Rahul Dravid’s departure, led the team onto the ground and supervised the training session. Gautam Gambhir coaching staff for the Sri Lankan tour includes former India all-rounder Abhishek Nayar and Dutch batsman Ryan ten Doeschate. Additionally, Sairaj Bahutule, associated with the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru, will serve as the acting bowling coach in the interim.
