Indian Cricketers Celebrate Raksha Bandhan, Share Pictures

On August 19, the entire India is celebrating Raksha Bandhan. The nation is immersed in festivity as sibling love and cultural pride fill social media. Indians worldwide are coming together to celebrate, with cricketers joining in by honoring this special occasion with their sisters, showcasing the deep bonds and traditions that unite them.

RCB’s Interesting Raksha Bandhan Post: 

Raksha Bandhan, a festival rich in Indian tradition, celebrates the protective bond between siblings. This year, RCB joined this celebration by sharing a collage on their official social media. The images featured Virat Kohli and Shreyanka Patil. The post features Kohli shielding his bat under his jersey from the rain. On the flip side, Shreyanks hugs her bat close. 

After sharing this picture, Royal Challengers Bengaluru wrote, “Protect your sisters the way our superstars protect their bats. Close to your heart, cozy in your hug.” That unique post on this auspicious occasion grabbed the attention. 

 Bumrah, Chahal and Others Joined Too:

Players like Jasprit Bumrah, Yuzvendra Chahal, and others joined the force. On social media, bowler Yuzvendra Chahal shared a picture with his sisters and wrote, “Happy Rakhi.” On the other hand, Jasprit Bumrah shared three pictures with his three sisters and wished them happy Raksha Bandhan. Fans are enjoying their warm wishes. 

Former Indian all-rounder Yuvraj Singh shared a heart-melting video. The video contains some memorable childhood memories of him with his sister. The fans are loving his Raksha Bandhan post. 

Rinku Singh Shared Warm Wishes:

The talented power-hitter of Team India Rinku Singh also celebrated this festival. On his Instagram handle, the batter shared pictures of Rakhi’s celebration with his sister. After sharing those pictures, Rinku wrote, “Happy Raksha Bandhan Behen.”

Former Indian bowler Harbhajan Singh also joined this auspicious occasion with his five sisters. He shared a collage of  their celebration and wrote, “Happy Raksha Bandhan from us to you all.”
