India’s probable XI for Kanpur Test

Team India got off to a spectacular start to the two match Test series against Bangladesh. Rohit Sharma-led Indian cricket team got the better of Bangladesh cricket team by a huge margin of 280 runs in the Chepauk Test in Chennai.

The second and final Test between India and Bangladesh will kick off on September 27, Friday at Green Park Stadium in Kanpur. Team India are expected to field three spinners in the upcoming Test match. It maybe because the venue traditionally favours spinners.

Kuldeep Yadav, who did not get a chance to play in the Test, is expected to feature in the game. As usual, India will feel the strong playing 11 for the upcoming Test match. Meanwhile, Jasprit Bumrah could be rested for the game to manage this workload. Let’s take a look at the probable playing XI for the Kanpur Test against Bangladesh.

The Indian captain Rohit Sharma failed to produce a spark in the Test matches against Bangladesh so far. Having played four innings against them, he scored 44 runs at an average of just 8. In the recently concluded Test against Bangladesh, he scored 6 and 5 in the first and second innings in the Chepauk Test. The seasoned cricketer will be looking forward to braving the challenges in the Kanpur Test match.

On the other hand, Jaiswal scored fifty in the first innings against Bangladesh in the recently concluded game. The young left-hander who scored 1064 runs at an average of 64.3, will be looking forward to continuing his good form in the upcoming match.
