Intend Grace DD Stem Has 25 mm Reach and 38 mm Stack | The Radavist

As just about everyone on staff here complains about low stack heights on production bikes, we have tuned into the evolution of higher stack cockpits taking over the downhill world. The latest, and to be fair, best-looking stem we’ve found is the Intend BC Grace DD stem. Stems typically don’t exceed a reach of 33mm, as the diameters of both the fork steerer and the handlebar limit it. So to make the reach shorter, you’ve got to move the bars above the steerer tube. The Grace DD makes a 25 mm reach dimension possible by placing the handlebar above the steerer tube, so you have to cut your steerer accordingly. This enables the Grace DD’s 38 mm of stack. However, the Grace DD has a handlebar rise limit of 20 mm and is currently only available in a 31.8 clamp.
