IOC with Panini launches Olympic games stickers and cards

The IOC with Panini launches Olympic games stickers and cards. The International Olympics Committee has revealed a new licensing deal with Panini to produce collectible stickers and cards for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games and the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic Winter Games.

The 33rd Summer Olympics will take place from July 26 to August 11 in Paris and 16 other French cities. This will be the third time Paris hosts the Games, following 1900 and 1924, making it the second city after London to do so three times.

Events will be held at 35 venues, featuring iconic Paris landmarks. Fans can enjoy beach volleyball beneath the Eiffel Tower and equestrian events at the Palace of Versailles. The opening ceremony will showcase athletes parading across the Seine. Additionally, some events will be held outside Paris in various locations across France.

Here are the details about the exclusive stickers and card albums

The Paris 2024 collection includes web and mobile apps that provide digital card packs featuring celebrated Olympic and Paralympic athletes, original artist cards, and Olympic Games emblems and pictograms.

These digital card packs, which can be purchased within the app, also grant access to exclusive digital content. Special gold cards offer opportunities for unique prizes, such as virtual Q&A sessions with Olympic athletes and legends.

Both physical and digital album collections will be accessible worldwide, starting with the Paris 2024 Album by Panini, set to launch this month. This release, in partnership with Worldwide Olympic Partner Coca-Cola, represents the inaugural digital collectible album for the Olympic Games.

Here’s What the IOC said

In their statement, the IOC has emphasised on the need to engage the fans. They announced the partnership with Coca Cola and Panini, to create the collection.

“In line with Olympic Agenda, we are looking for new ways to engage fans across different media, and so are pleased to bring together our Worldwide TOP Partner Coca-Cola and licensee, Panini, to create this new Paris 2024 collection.” The statement said.

“There have been a number of projects with Panini and some National Olympic Committees in the past, but for the first time, this collection offers fans unique digital content featuring athletes of different sports from all over the world.” Was also added.

The official IOC website has made it clear that physical and digital albums are not available in the USA, China, Russia and Belarus. The Paris 2024 Album is only available digitally in France.
