Amid escalating tensions between neighboring countries India and Pakistan, the ongoing IPL 2025 was temporarily suspended. However, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has yet to release an official statement regarding the future of the marquee T20 tournament.
The match between Delhi Capitals (DC) and Punjab Kings (PBKS) in Dharamsala was called off on Thursday, after Pakistan launched missile and drone strikes on Indian cities late that night. Notably, the match was called off due to a “technical failure,” but the reason was the security concerns amid fears of an attack.
