Reports are emerging of IPL 2025 being suspended due to the tensions between India and Pakistan. Ever since Operation Sindoor was launched by India in the early hours of Wednesday, May 7 the response from Pakistan began soon after at the international border and the Line of Control (LoC). Apparently, the situation has escalated and the attacks are being done on urban areas in various parts of India near the border.
Sensing the gravity of the situation, the match between Punjab Kings and Delhi Capitals at Dharamsala today was called off midway. Initially, it seemed like a floodlight failure but soon the authorities started asking the spectators to vacate the stadium with the official confirmation coming out soon.
