The RCB wicketkeeper-batter revealed that Preity made a personal phone call to apologise because she could not bring him back in the auction.
Jitesh, who played for Punjab Kings from 2022 to 2025, moved to Royal Challengers Bengaluru before the 2025 season and played a key role in their title-winning campaign. Despite his success with RCB, the bond he shared with Preity Zinta clearly remains strong.

Jitesh also shared that both he and Preity come from Himachal Pradesh and would often talk for hours about life, beyond cricket.
