Virat Kohli has been considered as one of the best batters that has ever played the game of cricket and is part of the current generation’s top four batters.

Kohli is the face of cricket and is the highest earning cricketer in the world currently. His exceptional batting prowess and overall involvement in the game got him the tag of ‘King’.

Well, Kohli is still outstanding in all formats of the game, the reason behind some seeing him as the weakest mainly because he has not played many matches as compared to the two of the three batters in fab 4 in the last four years in test cricket.

And due to less number of appearances he has scored less runs. Not to forget he was the leading run-scorer in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 with 741 runs and also broke the record of legendary Sachin Tendulkar of hitting most centuries in ODI format.

Virat Kohli was way ahead of his competition until 2020, but he has faced some form issues and also played less number of matches in last four years as compared to other three batters. Despite that, he continued to lead in ODI and T20I format, while he is only behind in test cricket.

Kohli smashed 27 tons till January 2021, while Steve Smith struck 26, Kane Williamson 23, and Joe Root 17 in test cricket. Since then, Kohli has managed to hit two centuries in 26 matches, Williamson hit 9 in 18 matches, Smith 6 in 34 games, and Joe Root 17 in 48 red-ball matches.

However, when we compare, we must look at the overall stats in all formats, then only we can conclude, and even after a lean patch, Virat Kohli is still the strongest amongst fab 4 in world cricket.
