Is Wardogs going to be released for PS5 or Xbox Series

Wardogs enters the large-scale modern military first-person shooter arena with great ambitions, pitting up to 100 players split into three teams against each other on a sprawling map. Whether you’re taking a break from Battlefield 6 or simply want a new shooter in your regular rotation, you may be wondering if Wardogs is going to be released on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.

Aside from its intense combined arms warfare that emphasizes teamwork, Wardogs stands out thanks to developer Bulkhead’s commitment to avoiding battlepasses, immersion-breaking skins, and pay-to-win elements.

Wardogs initial announcement confirmed that it is headed to PC, via Steam Early Access, where the team behind it will spend between 12 and 24 months working on the game and implementing changes based on player feedback.

“We absolutely want to come to Xbox and PlayStation,” the developer said in a video from early March 2026. “Don’t worry, we haven’t forgotten about you guys. We’re coming to console. That’s our plan, we just don’t know when.”

By the sound of it, Warodgs’ console release will very likely occur at some point during or after its early access phase, with the developer focusing on its PC counterpart for the time being.

More details will likely be shared over the coming months, as development continues, but it is nonetheless great to have confirmation that developer Bulkhead plans to make its latest project a multiplatform release.
