“It’s difficult to…”Harbhajan Singh’s massive take on team India’s squad for the Sri Lanka tour

Former Indian cricket player Harbhajan Singh criticized the selection for the upcoming T20I and ODI series against Sri Lanka, highlighting the absence of three key players. Harbhajan used social media to voice his dissatisfaction over the omission of Abhishek Sharma, Yuzvendra Chahal, and Sanju Samson. Although Samson was included in the T20I team, Abhishek and Chahal were left out completely, despite Abhishek’s strong performance against Zimbabwe and Chahal’s impressive showing in the IPL. “It’s difficult to understand why @yuzi_chahal, @IamAbhiSharma4, and @IamSanjuSamson are not in the Indian team for the Sri Lanka series,” he wrote on his official account on X (formerly Twitter).

Recently, Suryakumar Yadav, who has just become the captain for India’s T20 team, shared his joy about his new position. He mentioned that it comes with a lot of “responsibility, excitement, and enthusiasm.”

India has chosen Suryakumar Yadav to lead their men’s T20I team on a trip to Sri Lanka, with Shubman Gill taking the role of vice-captain for both the T20I and ODI teams. The series in Sri Lanka, which includes both T20 and ODI matches, begins on July 27 and features three games of each type. This will be India’s first international series under their new coach, Gautam Gambhir, who was appointed as the head coach earlier this month.
