IYO SKY Challenges Asuka for WrestleMania 42
Monday’s WWE RAW show in Houston, Texas featured a promo video segment involving Asuka calling out IYO SKY claiming that she had tried to take everything away from her and getting involved in her business with Kairi Sane. Asuka also claimed that SKY had taken advantage of her kindness and used her for her own selfish way and SKY must pay for that. Asuka stated that she will always be SKY’s “senpei”and she will take everything away from her.
Following the show, SKY responded on Twitter to Asuka’s comments and issued a challenge to her for WrestleMania 42.
“Asuka….The achievements you’ve made in WWE have been truly brilliant. Kairi and I have always looked up to you. But the way you’re treating Kairi right now is changing all of that!! If dragging Kairi around and using her as a shield is your idea of “LOVE,” then my “LOVE” is to go anywhere and everywhere to be Rhea’s shield. I’m DEFINITELY NOT afraid to face You, my senior whom I once LOVED so dearly. Let’s settle this once and for all: which of our “LOVES” deserves to have it all. Hope to see you in Vegas.”

Pat McAfee Comments on His Current Alliance with Randy Orton
As noted before, this past Friday’s WWE SmackDown show in St. Louis, Missouri featured Pat McAfee making a surprise return to WWE and turning heel on Cody Rhodes. McAfee’s involvement in the Randy Orton and Rhodes’ storyline feud for the Undisputed WWE Championship was later revealed to have been an edict that came from TKO CEO Ari Emanuel. McAfee’s involvement was also believed to have been done to boost interest in the show and also for “corporate synergy” between WWE and ESPN.
A recent episode of The Pat McAfee Show featured host Pat McAfee giving his thoughts about his current alliance with Randy Orton.
“It was a fun time on Friday night, letting the world know that yeah, remember when Randy Orton came on the show at the Combine, and shortly after that, I said that I thought the business passed me by? All of a sudden, Randy is on the phone with someone motivating him, dominating everybody. Oh yeah, maybe it was me telling him, ‘My daughter is about to turn three years old. I would like her to be a wrestling fan, but I would like wrestling to be what wrestling is supposed to be, especially at the top of the card.’ 6’5”, 275 pounds of perfection from the wrestling Gods has been sitting here this whole time. Is it on TV all day, every day? Absolutely not. He was actually sent home for six months recently. What? How is this guy being sent home? We’re saving the business when Randy wins his 15th title at Mania, and the future of the business is going to be led by what the wrestling Gods deem perfection.
Anything that doesn’t involve Randy, in my eyes, shite. If Randy Orton is involved, good. Just know, we got some things cooking. Future wrestling fans are going to look back on the night in Vegas and say, ‘That was the moment that that GOAT saved the entire business.’ Thank you, Randy.”
