Jackie Redmond Hints at Taking Twitter Break After Olympics Interviews Get Pulled

Jackie Redmond sounds like she’s had enough — at least when it comes to Twitter/X.

After several of her Milano-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics interviews were removed following copyright claims tied to HBO Eurosport, the NHL and WWE broadcaster took to social media to vent. But it was her follow-up comment that really grabbed attention. First, Redmond expressed frustration over her work being pulled.

“Ughhhh all my interviews getting taken down is a real bummer.”

“Worked really hard to try and showcase the athletes as people first.”

“Sucks that footage shot for HBO EUROSPORT that doesn’t feature any highlights whatsoever is being taken down for no reason.”

The interviews — which focused on personal stories from players like Jack Eichel and Jack Hughes — reportedly did not include game footage. Still, they were removed. Then came the pivot.

“I love instagram. I think I’ll go hangout there. 😉”

Redmond’s Olympic interviews had drawn significant attention before being taken down, with fans praising the emotional depth and behind-the-scenes access. Now, instead of continuing the conversation on X/Twitter, she’s hinting that Instagram may be her preferred platform moving forward.

Is Jackie Redmond making a real platform shift, or just sending a message? Where do you think sports media creators should focus their content now? Drop your thoughts below.
