Jake Paul vs Anthony Joshua – Odds and Betting Guide

Jake Paul and Anthony Joshua are just days away from their barely-believable heavyweight contest.

Paul will meet Joshua at the Kaseya Center in Miami on Friday over eight, three-minute rounds, live on Netflix.

‘The Problem Child’ is facing a tall order to defeat the former two-time heavyweight world champion and the bookmakers have placed him as a major underdog.

Draft Kings have ‘AJ’ as a 1/12 favourite to win Friday’s bout, while his rival is a 7/1 underdog to pull off what would be one of the biggest upsets in recent history.

‘AJ’, who boasts an 89% knockout ratio, is backed to win inside schedule [via KO/TKO/DQ] at 1/4.

The 36-year-old is an even bigger favourite to win inside the first two rounds with a first round victory priced at 3/1 and a second round win at 7/2.

A victory on the scorecards for the Watford man is priced the same as a third round victory at 9/2.

The value is most certainly found in betting on the YouTuber-turned-boxer, who is priced at 12/1 to hand ‘AJ’ a knockout defeat.

The Ohio man is a whopping 50/1 to pull a first round shocker and at an even steeper 65/1 to win in either round two or three.

The 28-year-old is backed at 80/1 in rounds four and five and a staggering 100/1 in rounds six, seven or eight.

The lowest bet is on a Paul victory by decision, which is priced at 16/1.

Joshua has been down nine times in his career, including four times in his last outing against Daniel Dubois in a crushing fifth round knockout loss and is valued at 5/1 to hit the canvas again.

Paul has never been down in his 13-fight professional career, although the oddsmakers are expecting this to change, with the visitor priced at 1/5 to floor ‘The Problem Child’.
