Bumrah’s workload has been managed wisely by the management because if Bumrah suffered another back injury, then it might be the end of his Test career.

“Pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah won’t be available for all five Tests against England from what physiotherapists have told us,” Agarkar said, according to PTI.

Agarkar also revealed as to why Bumrah was not considered for the leadership role.

The Indian chief selector stated, “Bumrah is More important to us as a player. Once you’re managing people, there’s a lot that takes out of you. We’ve had a chat with him, he’s okay with it. He knows where his body is.”
