Jay Shah’s net worth more than 100 crore as new ICC chairman

Jay Shah previously served as the secretary for the Bard of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). He is now taking over the role of the chairman for the International Cricket Council (ICC). Shah will be taking this role starting from December 1, 2024. He is taking over the responsibility after Greg Barclay, who decided to not compete after his four-year tenure was completed. Jay Shah is going to be the youngest ICC Chairman at the age of 35.

“Jay Shah has been elected unopposed as the next Independent Chair of the International Cricket Council. Shah, who has served as the BCCI Honorary Secretary since October 2019 and Chair of the Asian Cricket Council since January 2021, will assume this prestigious role on December 1, 2024. Shah was the sole nominee for the chairmanship after current Chair Greg Barclay decided not to seek a third term,” said ICC in their official statement.

According to reports, Shah is owner of assets which in total worth Rs 124crore. Jay Shah is a person with a good skillset and has earned this money with his business.

Jay is also reported to have worked for Temple Enterprise. along with that, he also has close to 60 percent stake in Kusum Finserve.

The 35-year-old made his entry in the BCCI during 2015, as a member of the Finance and Marketing Committee. In 2019, he became the secretary of BCCI and in 2022 he got re-elected to be the secretary for BCCI.
