Jeff Hardy: Leon Slater Is ‘Definitely Going To Lead TNA Into The Future’

Jeff Hardy has confirmed that Leon Slater is scheduled to return to action at the upcoming TNA tapings in Nashville, Tennessee. Slater has been absent from TNA programming for the past month due to visa issues, although he did compete during the WWE UK tour last month.

Speaking to Reel Appreciation, Hardy expressed his excitement about Slater’s return to the roster. He praised the young high-flyer, referring to him as the “Swanton 450 guy” and predicting a big career trajectory for him within the company.

“Without a doubt, another exciting thing about Nashville, Leon Slater’s going to be back. The Swanton 450 guy. So he’s going to be back in action, and he is the future of pro wrestling. It’s so cool to work with him and just see what he’s doing at such a young age. So he’s definitely going to lead TNA into the future,” Hardy said.

TNA Wrestling is set to host the No Surrender Pay-Per-View on Friday in Nashville, followed by an iMPACT! taping the next day. Slater is expected to be part of the events, reintegrating into the roster after his brief hiatus.
