John Cena Influences WWE to Sign Major Star » TWNP-Wrestling News

John Cena’s influence on WWE has been undeniable over the past 25 years. However, The Never Seen 17 is looking to make a mark that lasts forever. The WWE Universe hasn’t seen the last of the retired Superstar, as John Cena signed a five-year ambassador’s deal with WWE. Yet, he still has his fingers all over the locker room culture. As we’ve reported, John Cena is grooming Je’Von Evans to be a top star. Chelsea Green also confirmed that John Cena helped facilitate Matt Cardona’s WWE return. Now, John Cena influences WWE to lock down another megastar to a long-term deal.

John Cena Influences WWE to Sign Logan Paul Full-Time

As we first reported here, WWE signed Logan Paul to a new long-term deal. In addition to being a multi-year agreement, Logan Paul will also be a full-time member of the main roster.

John Cena was part of a panel at FAN EXPO. A fan asked if he missed any dream matches during his final run.

The GOAT insisted he wasn’t deflecting the question, and in the meantime, confirmed his role in Logan Paul’s WWE deal:

“I got to have a match with Randy Orton in his hometown, I got to get CM Punk to go to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

I got to bet on somebody who I think has a bright future in this business, in Logan Paul, and try and get the best out of him overseas in Paris, and maybe grease the wheels to convince him to finally be a full-time WWE employee, which he currently is.”

John Cena’s answer got a light “woo” from the crowd. However, he continued answering the question, noting that he also had magic with AJ Styles. So, there are no “what ifs” when it comes to his retirement.

Logan Paul and John Cena’s Relationship

John Cena and Logan Paul’s relationship has organically blossomed into a mentor-mentee one. Logan Paul was the first to break the news that Travis Scott was to partner with Logan Paul and John Cena in a Six-Man Tag at Money in the Bank. However, that never happened, as Travis Scott no-showed a Raw event heading into the PLE.

Instead, Logan Paul and John Cena teamed up in a losing effort to face Jey Uso and Cody Rhodes. This loss led to a breakup between Logan Paul and John Cena.

The two would clash at Clash In Paris in what was one of John Cena’s best performances in his final year of wrestling. It’s no wonder John Cena influences WWE to nab The Maverick full-time!
