Former WWE Divas Champion Barbie Blank, known professionally as Kelly Kelly, officially announced that she will be a playable character in the upcoming video game WWE 2K26. The announcement marks her first appearance in a WWE console video game in over a decade.
Blank shared a video on her social media platforms detailing her involvement with the game. In the post, she stated:
“What’s up you guys! I am so excited to share this. Kelly Kelly is coming to WWE 2K26. It’s been thirteen years since I’ve been in the video game, which is kind of crazy. But because you guys spoke up, 2K listened and I’m officially back in the video game. So I’ll be joining the roster as a part of Season Two of the Ringside Pass coming in April and I can’t wait for you guys to check it out.”
Game Details and Release Schedule
WWE 2K26 is the latest installment in the long-running professional wrestling video game franchise developed by Visual Concepts and published by 2K Sports. Historically, the series has moved away from its traditional March release window to a February launch for the 2026 edition to coincide with major lead-up events to WrestleMania.
Kelly Kelly will not be part of the initial launch roster. Instead, she is scheduled to arrive as downloadable content (DLC). Her character will be released in April 2026 as part of the Season Two Ringside Pass. The Ringside Pass is a seasonal content subscription that provides players with access to several post-launch character packs and additional in-game features.
Kelly Kelly’s last appearance in a primary WWE console title was in WWE ’12, released in 2011. Since her full-time departure from WWE in 2012, Blank has made several sporadic appearances for the company, including participating in Royal Rumble matches in 2018, 2020, 2021, and 2022. Despite these appearances, her character model was not included in previous iterations of the 2K series until this year’s confirmation for WWE 2K26.
The inclusion of alumni and “Legend” status superstars is a recurring feature of the WWE 2K franchise, often driven by community requests and “wish lists” submitted by fans to the developers.
