Leadership of the Millennium Supporters Union of Ghana Ketu South branch, with support from the Volta Regional chapter, has presented a newly Kente designed Ghana Supporters Union jersey to Ghana’s Deputy Ambassador to the Republic of Togo, Bright Solomon Kumordzie.

The delegation, led by the interim chairperson of the Ketu South branch and accompanied by the Volta Regional Deputy Public Relations Officer, Jerod Kabu, made the presentation during a visit to Togo as part of efforts to strengthen support for Ghana’s national teams.

The visit comes ahead of a crucial fixture involving Ghana’s U-17 women’s national team, the Black Maidens, who are set to face Togo in a FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup qualifier on Sunday, April 12, 2026, in Lomé.

During the engagement, the supporters’ leadership reaffirmed their readiness to rally behind the national teams, emphasizing their commitment to mobilizing support both within Ghana and beyond its borders. They also expressed appreciation to the Deputy Ambassador for his continued support to the Ketu South branch, despite it not yet being officially inaugurated.

Prior to the visit, Bright Solomon Kumordzie had attended a meeting of the MISUGHA Ketu South branch held in Aflao on Sunday, March 22, 2026, where he engaged members and encouraged their efforts in promoting Ghanaian football.

The presentation of the jersey in Togo further highlights the growing collaboration between the supporters’ union and Ghana’s diplomatic mission, as both sides aim to boost morale and strengthen support for the Black Maidens ahead of their important qualifier.
