Keven Beausejour Signs with Eye of the Tiger, Returns April 9 in MontrealEye of the Tiger Signs Montreal Prospect Keven Beausejour to Long-Term Deal

MONTREAL — Eye of the Tiger Management (EOTTM) has officially announced the long-term signing of promising Montreal light heavyweight prospect Keven Beausejour, marking the 24th athlete under contract with the Quebec-based organization.

Beausejour is set to return to the ring on April 9 at the Casino de Montréal, competing on the undercard of the unified world championship bout between Osleys Iglesias and Pavel Silyagin.

“I’m Ready to Aim for the Highest Heights”

The 26-year-old 175-pound prospect expressed his excitement about joining one of Canada’s premier boxing organizations.

“I am extremely excited to sign with EOTTM. It’s a major step in my career and a great source of pride for me to join an elite team. All the work done behind the scenes is finally paying off, and I’m ready to aim for the highest heights and proudly represent where I come from,” said the light heavyweight (175 lb) prospect, Keven Beausejour.

Beausejour (2-0, 2 KOs) has wasted no time making an impression in the professional ranks. He delivered a spectacular debut last December in Mexico, scoring a first-round knockout victory.

He followed that performance with a high-stakes tryout bout for EOTTM on February 5 in Montreal. Once again, he exceeded expectations, securing a second-round stoppage over an opponent who had never previously been finished.

Olympic Pedigree and National Success

Before turning professional, Beausejour built an impressive amateur résumé with nearly 70 bouts. His accomplishments include:

  • Four-time Canadian National Champion
  • 2023 Continental Championships Gold Medalist
  • Strong showings at the Pan American Games
  • Notable performances at the Commonwealth Games

Along the way, he also earned victories over two former EOTTM fighters, Raphael Courchesne and Lexson Mathieu — further solidifying his credentials ahead of his professional rise.

“It’s Art, Not a Brawl”

Lyousfi El Mostafa, head coach of the newest EOTTM recruit at The Corner Gym in Montreal, offered high praise for Beausejour’s style and ring IQ.

“Put classical music on during one of Keven’s fights and you’ll understand that it’s not a brawl — it’s art. Boxing fans are going to discover an athlete with incredible composure, flawless defense, and punches planted like a flag in enemy territory,” said Lyousfi El Mostafa.

With an undefeated record, elite amateur foundation, and now the backing of Eye of the Tiger Management, Beausejour appears poised to become one of Quebec’s next breakout stars in the light heavyweight division.

All eyes will now turn to April 9 at the Casino de Montréal as he looks to continue his early knockout streak and further establish himself as a rising contender on the Canadian boxing scene.
