In an exciting development for the Indian gaming community, Kratos Gamer Network (KGeN) has partnered with Riot Games to launch India’s first VALORANT virtual training academy, named LIFT//OFF. This innovative initiative aims to cultivate the next generation of VALORANT athletes through a community-led and data-driven approach.
A Groundbreaking Initiative
LIFT//OFF is designed to create a structured environment where aspiring gamers can enhance their skills and gain invaluable experience. The program will be spearheaded by a select group of gaming content creators and experienced competitive gamers, referred to as ‘trainers’. These trainers will guide participants through a comprehensive curriculum that extends beyond in-game tactics to include essential life skills for aspiring esports professionals.
The academy will select 20 creators who will form teams by either choosing five players or collaborating with four athletes from their communities. Each team will then be assigned one of the 20 selected trainers, ensuring personalized guidance tailored to each player’s needs.
Application Process and Selection Criteria
Applications for creators, trainers, and recruits opened on September 18th and will remain open until October 10th. Candidates will be evaluated based on their in-game performance metrics, including hours played, win rates, successful kills, headshot percentages, and overall community standing such as tournament wins and content creation skills.
This rigorous selection process ensures that only the most qualified individuals are chosen to participate in LIFT//OFF, fostering an environment of excellence and competitiveness.
Comprehensive Training Experience
Participants in LIFT//OFF will benefit from a well-rounded training experience that includes data-driven insights to help build their reputation within the VALORANT community. The program’s curriculum is designed to address specific areas where players need improvement through tailored tutorials and challenges.
From November 4th to November 26th, players can engage in daily and weekly challenges that will test their skills and knowledge gained during training. The program culminates in a final tournament scheduled between November 30th and December 3rd, where top-performing teams will showcase their abilities.
Opportunities for Growth
One of the standout features of LIFT//OFF is its commitment to providing participants with opportunities to compete in official VALORANT tournaments. This exposure is crucial for aspiring esports athletes looking to make a name for themselves on a global stage. Additionally, creators and trainers involved in the program will receive official VALORANT merchandise as recognition for their contributions.
KGeN’s initiative not only aims to enhance the skills of participants but also seeks to foster a vibrant esports community in India. By leveraging data analytics and community engagement, LIFT//OFF is set to redefine how aspiring gamers train and develop their careers in competitive gaming.
