Killer Kelly’s TNA departure just got a whole lot clearer—and it wasn’t just about contracts or timing whatsoever.
After previously confirming her exit from TNA Wrestling, Kelly has now revealed the real reason behind her decision, and it comes down to one thing—her future alongside fiancé Myron Reed. Speaking to BodySlam on March 29, 2026, Kelly and Reed opened up about plans that were already in motion before everything changed. Reed explained that the idea of bringing their KILLERGOAT act into TNA was actually close to becoming reality.
“Before I left TNA, it was on its way. The last promo I cut… We were about to get KILLERGOAT in TNA, and the promo that I cut on Leon — she was in it. I was going that way.”
That’s when everything shifted. Reed revealed he was offered a contract with AEW — and surprisingly, it was Kelly who pushed him to take the opportunity, even though it meant changing their plans.
“When I got offered the AEW contract, she was like, ‘Go take it.’ I said I’d stay for half the money, and she was like, ‘No, go — we’ll figure it out,’ and that’s what we’re doing right now.”
Kelly then explained her side of the situation, making it clear that KILLERGOAT wasn’t something she wanted to do without Reed — leading to their decision to go their separate ways.
“I didn’t want to stay and not be part of KILLERGOAT. That’s why I decided to part ways. So it’s either I’m with Myron or I’m not.”
This puts a completely different perspective on her exit. What initially looked like a standard contract situation now comes across as a calculated move centered around creative direction and personal alignment.
For Killer Kelly, leaving TNA wasn’t about dissatisfaction—it was about choosing a path that allows her to build something alongside Myron Reed, even if it meant stepping away from a company where she had already found success.
Do you think Killer Kelly made the right call leaving TNA to focus on KILLERGOAT, or should she have stayed and continued her solo run? Drop your thoughts below and let us know.
