After facing England on home turf earlier this year, Team India is facing Bangladesh in a two-match Test series. While batting in the first innings, the home team faced some serious setbacks after losing the first three wickets in just 34 runs. But Ravichandran Aswin and Ravindra Jadeja’s brilliance boosted India’s innings. Aswin scored an exceptional century on his home ground and Jadeja played a knock of 86 runs in 124 balls. 

Even with balls, India showcased their dominating side. Jasprit Bumrah secured crucial 4 wickets with his bowling mastery. Mohammed Siraj, Akashdeep, and Jadeja secured 2 wickets each, they stopped Bangladesh in just 149 runs. 

The second innings of India was a pure Gill-Pant show. Both batters secured centuries. Pant played a knock of 109 runs in 128 balls. Gill remained unbeaten scoring 119 runs as India declared their innings in 287 runs. They set a huge target of 515 runs in front of Bangladesh. As bad light stopped the play of day 3 early, the visitors need 357 runs to win the match.
