Le Mans Ultimate’s latest update overhauls the game’s LMGT3 Balance of Performance calculations, nerfing the Lamborghini Huracan EVO2.

A new update has dropped as an addendum to Le Mans Ultimate’s recent v1.2.3.0 patch, and this one heavily revises the LMGT3 category’s Balance of Performance (BoP) calculation.
BoP is the means by which the organisers of the FIA World Endurance Championship maintain performance parity between manufacturers, and can lead to aerodynamic, maximum stint energy allowance, weight and power adjustments. It’s a secretive process in real-world motorsport, but less so in virtual form, with developer/publisher Motorsport Games detailing several LMGT3 changes.
Perhaps the biggest winner from this process is the Aston Martin Vantage AMR LMGT3, which receives a 26 kg, 28 kg, and 35 kg weight break at Bahrain, Interlagos and Qatar, respectively.
However, the Lamborghini Huracan EVO2 LMGT3’s performance has been pegged back severely in comparison, receiving an additional 27 kg, 29 kg, 45 Kg, 38 kg and 35 kg at Fuji, Imola, Le Mans, Silverstone and Qatar.
Where the extra ballast is placed in each car has also been amended in LMU (although it’s unspecified exactly where), with a number of Coach Dave Academy set-ups, which are designed to be more performative than the game’s defaults, added to several cars.

Maximum client count increased
Ahead of LMU’s 12-hour test races this weekend, the developers have increased the maximum client count of servers. This allows more spectators to join a server, as developer Studio 397 aims to stress-test the game’s online capabilities before rescheduling its original 24-hour event.
Increased driver aid weight penalties
For those who use driver aids, Hypercars will now receive a bigger weight penalty. Those who use ABS now receive an extra 25kg on Low and 45kg on High. Those who use Stability Control now get 20kg on Low and 40kg on High.
