The 2026 CCB Europe Top 16 Cup in Montreux, Switzerland—one of Europe’s most prestigious annual table tennis tournaments—delivered top-level finals as the continent’s elite competed from 5-8 February 2026.

In the men’s singles final, Alexis Lebrun (FRA) successfully defended his title, defeating Darko Jorgić (SLO) with a strong performance to retain his crown. In a repeat of the 2025 final, Lebrun secured a 3–1 (11-6, 11-6, 9-11, 11-6) victory. After defeating his brother Félix in the semi-finals, Alexis’s consistency reinforces his status as the premier force in European table tennis.

Meanwhile, in the women’s event, Sabine Winter (GER) claimed the championship with a commanding performance. She overcame Bernadette Szöcs (ROU) with a clinical 3–0 (11-4, 11-4, 11-4) win in the final. Winter’s dominant run, which included ending Han Ying’s 14-match winning streak in the semi-finals, confirms her position at the very top of the European rankings.

These victories underscore the strength and depth of European table tennis, with both Lebrun and Winter showing resilience and tactical excellence throughout the competition.
