Liv Morgan is clearing the air about that her “crying” moment on WWE RAW — and according to her, it wasn’t emotional at all.
After many speculated that Stephanie Vaquer’s intense Spanish promo left the 2026 Women’s Royal Rumble winner visibly shaken, Morgan is now setting the record straight. While speaking to Going Ringside on February 20, 2026, Liv addressed the now-viral backstage segment — and insisted the tears weren’t about emotion at all.
During the February 16 episode of WWE RAW, Vaquer delivered a fiery promo entirely in Spanish while Dominik Mysterio translated it directly to Morgan. The camera stayed tight on Liv as she listened in silence before appearing to tear up and walk away. Many interpreted the moment as Vaquer getting under her skin.
According to Morgan, that wasn’t the case. She first joked about Dominik being her translator — but admitted hearing the words in his voice made it sting a little more
“Yeah, luckily I had Daddy Dom there to translate for me. Honestly, it hurt a little bit more hearing those words come from Dominic’s voice.”
Then she dropped the real explanation. According to Liv, the tears weren’t about sacrifice, championships, or WrestleMania pressure — it was a literal piece of dust. She said the timing just made everything look dramatic.
“But if you look closely, I don’t know if you could see it on camera, a huge piece of dust flew into my eye. A huge piece of dust just hit me right in the face, and I was like, whoa. That’s where the tears came from. It probably looked like I was crying because of what she was saying, but really it was just that big particle of dust that got me.”
The segment instantly became a topic of discussion because of how raw it looked — Vaquer yelling inches from her face, Dominik translating with intensity, and Liv standing there silently before tearing up.
But if Morgan is to be believed, it wasn’t emotion — it was irritation. Whether fans buy the “dust” explanation or not, the WrestleMania tension between Morgan and Vaquer is very real.
Do you think Liv Morgan was truly emotional in that moment, or was it really just bad luck with arena dust? Let us know what you think.
