Arsenal defeated League One side Mansfield Town 2-1 to reach the quarter-finals of the FA Cup on Saturday afternoon.
Noni Madueke put the Gunners in front at Field Mill, before Will Evans equalised for the home side.
Eberechi Eze then restored the visitors’ advantage, though, and Mikel Arteta’s side held on to book their place in the last eight of the competition and keep their hopes of winning an unprecedented quadruple alive.
Next up for Arsenal is a Champions League tie against German side Bayer Leverkusen, but in the meantime it has emerged that the north London outfit have been handed a huge boost in their pursuit of a La Liga star.
As per Spanish outlet Fichajes, via CaughtOffside, both Arsenal and Premier League champions Liverpool are interested in Real Madrid centre-back Dean Huijsen.
The report claims that the Spaniard could be available for a fee of around £46 million this summer, despite only joining Real from Bournemouth last summer.

Huijsen, 20, joined the Spanish giants last summer after impressing during a single season with the Cherries, during which he made 36 appearances for Andoni Iraola’s side, scoring three times.
Since moving to Spain, the defender has made 28 appearances across all competitions, including 19 games in La Liga.
It is claimed that the La Liga giants could be willing to sell the Spain international when the transfer window reopens this summer, with the Spanish potentially prepared to make a profit of just £4 million on the player.
Huijsen is under contract in the Spanish capital until the end of the 2029/30 season, but it appears that he could leave the club this year and has suitors in England.
