Liverpool booked their place in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup with a 3-1 win over Wolves on Friday evening.

The Premier League’s bottom side had beaten the reigning champions in the league earlier last week, but goals from Andrew Robertson, Mohamed Salah, and Curtis Jones earned Arne Slot’s side a resounding victory, despite Hwang Hee-Chan’s late consolation.

The Reds will find out their quarter-final opponents when the draw is made on Monday evening, but in the meantime it appears that Liverpool have been deal a huge blow in their pursuit of two Ligue 1 stars.

According to TEAMtalk, Liverpool have been told that Paris Saint-Germain stars Bradley Barcola and Desire Doue will not be available for sale this summer.

The report claims that the Premier League champions had enquired about the availability of the duo, who have both been in sensational form for PSG over the past year or so.

Barcola, 23, joined PSG from fellow French side Lyon in 2023 and has since made 139 appearances for the club across all competitions, scoring 36 goals and providing the same number of assists.

Doue, meanwhile, was signed from Rennes in 2024 and has established himself as a key player in Luis Enrique’s side over the past 12 months.

The duo both featured heavily for PSG last term as they completed a remarkable treble, winning the Champions League, Ligue 1 title, and French Cup.

It is claimed that Liverpool had showed interest in signing the two attackers, however PSG have made it clear that neither player will be available this summer or any time soon.

Barcola is under contract until the end of the 2027/28 campaign, while Doue’s current deal runs until the summer of 2029.

Liverpool’s interest in the pair comes amid uncertainty surrounding the future of Mohamed Salah, with both wingers able to operate on either flank.
