Premier League champions Liverpool travel to face Nottingham Forest on Sunday afternoon.
The Reds cruised to the top flight title last term but have struggled this time around, losing eight of their 26 league games so far.
Last time out, however, Arne Slot’s side defeated Premier League rivals Brighton and Hove Albion 3-0 in the fourth round of the FA Cup, and the Dutchman will hope to see his side build on that performance at The City Ground.
In the meantime, it is emerging that Liverpool are interested in one of the most talked about players in Serie A.
According to Italian outlet Calciomercato, via CaughtOffside, the Reds are keeping tabs on Juventus winger Kenan Yildiz.
The report claims that the Premier League champions are one of a number of clubs monitoring the Turkey international, who has been in fine form for the Old Lady so far this season.

Yildiz, 20, joined Juventus’ youth system from German giants Bayern Munich back in 2022 and has since progressed into the first team in Berlin.
He is enjoying a fine breakthrough season this term, though, netting nine times and providing eight assists for Juventus so far.
His impressive form hasn’t gone unnoticed, though, and the report suggests that both Liverpool and Spanish giants Real Madrid have been keeping tabs on the Turk.
Yildiz is contracted to Juventus until the end of the 2029/30 campaign, having signed a new deal with the Italian giants earlier this month.
Despite this, it appears increasingly likely that the Turkish winger will depart Turin in the next 12 months, with several of Europe’s biggest clubs now credited with an interest in the player.
The player’s form, and importance to his current team, means that he would like cost a substantial amount if he were to depart Juventus this summer.
