Mohamed Salah will certainly be leaving Liverpool as a Reds legend and an all-time Premier League great, but it seems he wasn’t always easy to work with.
Liverpool fans will surely miss Salah, but a report has shed some light into how he could be quite difficult for his managers as he fell out with both Jurgen Klopp and Arne Slot.
According to the Telegraph, Salah still regards himself as one of the best players in the world and would not be content to stay at Liverpool if it meant sitting on the bench.

This is what has led to the breakdown of his relationship with Slot this season, while in the past he also had a row with former LFC boss Klopp when he was benched for a game against West Ham.
Right time for Mohamed Salah and Liverpool to part ways
At the end of the day, most clubs will put up with someone like Salah as long as they’re delivering at their usual high standards on the pitch.
The Egypt international is a rare breed of player who’s good enough to get away with being slightly hard to manage, but it’s also true that even the best eventually get old and lose the powers they had at their peak.
The reality is that Salah staying at Liverpool now would likely have been too much of a problem for it to be worthwhile, so him leaving on a free transfer this summer will likely go down as the right call.

Salah has been a joy to watch for Liverpool, and even if his time at Anfield isn’t exactly ending as he might have wanted it, he’s sure to get a great reception as he bids farewell to the club.
