Punjab Kings (PBKS) faced a massive injury blow during the ongoing game against Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. Star pacer Lockie Ferguson faced a knee injury and walked off the field.
Lockie Ferguson, who has been playing a decent role for the team in the IPL 2025, got injured in the first over that he bowled. The New Zealand National Cricket Team pacer was introduced into the attack in the last over of the powerplay when the team was under pressure.
Lockie Ferguson bowled two good deliveries but just ahead of the third ball of the over, he experienced pain. He looked uncomfortable as he held his quad on his way back to the run-up and the things didn’t look great at all.
Lockie Ferguson then was unable to walk straight. He was holding that left quad before the physios rushed out to see if he could do something. However, he was deemed unfit to take part in the game any further as he walked off the field.
