Luke Riley picked up another win inside the Octagon at UFC London, defeating Michael Aswell Jr. in the evening’s co-main event.
While Aswell had a solid start to the opening round, Riley’s boxing slowly took over, sealing a 1-0 lead for the Brit following the first five minutes.
It was a repeat performance from Riley in round two as he repeatedly tested the chin of Aswell. Riley also did an excellent job of controlling the Octagon, giving him a solid 2-0 lead going into the third and final stanza.
Despite being in desperate need of a finish, Aswell showed little urgency in the third, opting to clinch against the fence and rack up some control time. Unfortunately, it wasn’t enough to mitigate the damage Riley inflicted in the first 10 minutes of the fight.
