The first round of the Knockouts saw Team Liquid PH and Aurora PH duke it out. Aurora PH came out on top with a 2-1 scoreline behind the heroics of star Edward ‘Edward’ Dapadap and Exp Laner Jan ‘Domengkite’ Delmundo. The Knockout stage does feature a Double Elimination setup so Team Liquid still has a shot in the Lower Bracket. Team Liquid face Indonesian powerhouse ONIC led by Filipino fan-favorite Kairi ‘Kairi’ Rayosdelsol to keep their tournament alives in a must-win game.

In the Upper Bracket, Aurora PH have a favored match-up against #2 MPL Indonesia Seed, Alter Ego. While it is a favored match-up for Aurora PH, Indonesian teams are never to be underestimated in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang specially with Alter Ego’s form after running an undefeated Swiss Stage earlier in the tournament.

The Selangor Red Giants, MPL Malaysia Champions, are also still in strong contention at the M7 World Championships featuring two Filipino imports, Mark ‘Kramm’ Rusiana and John Vincent ‘Innocent’ Banal.

Action continues on January 21 with streams available on Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok.
