Multiple brief blackouts interrupted the broadcast of WWE NXT: Stand & Deliver during the NXT Women’s Championship match after an apparent wardrobe malfunction involving Jacy Jayne.
Jayne defended her title in a Triple Threat match against Lola Vice and Kendal Grey, following a controversial No. 1 contender’s bout the week prior that even left head of creative Shawn Michaels questioning the outcome.
Throughout the match, “The Rockstar” showed exactly why she entered as champion, controlling key stretches and playing to the camera — at one point telling critics to “read it and weep.”
As the match went on, the live broadcast cut to black multiple times, leaving viewers confused. The interruptions reportedly stemmed from a wardrobe malfunction during a sequence in which Grey had Jayne locked in an ankle submission, briefly exposing more than intended on camera.
Additional blackouts occurred in the closing moments due to further gear issues.
Jayne managed to fend off Grey, but the closing moments belonged to Lola Vice, who won with a spinning backfist to secure the pinfall.
