Los Angeles Rams defensive tackle Kobie Turner swapped the football field for the keyboard as he fine tuned his other talents this offseason.
The 26-year-old, whose 2025 season came to an end when the Rams lost to the Seattle Seahawks in the NFC Championship game in January, stunned fans this week when he revealed that he boasts gifts other than his football ability.
The defensive end was captured harmonizing with singer Alisan Porter in a video that she shared to Instagram.
In the clip, which has since gone viral, the pair perform a duet to Katy Perry’s 2012 hit, Wide Awake, with Turner impressing fans with his rich, silky vocals.
Turner’s singing wasn’t the only surprise as the NFL star also sat the keyboard, tinkling on the ivories as Porter stood behind him.
Both Turner and Porter wore Rams football helmets for the performance and hilariously knocked them together at the end.

Turner gave fans a taste of his musical endeavors when he appeared on The Masked Singer
Turner’s singing quickly captivated NFL fans on social media as they claimed that he had the ‘voice of an angel.’
‘Aww, this is so sweet! He’s got some serious talent,’ posted one fan, while another claimed that ‘Kobie’s voice could fund a Fortune 500 IPO!’
One social media user even went as far as to call for Turner to perform the national anthem at the Rams’ home opener next season.
Turner has previously given fans a taste of his musical endeavors when he appeared on The Masked Singer in 2024.
During his second season with the Rams, Turner, masked as ‘Goo,’ reached the quarterfinals on the 12th season of the show – the farthest an NFL player has ever reached.
‘It was really validating that this is something that I can do and that I hope is validating for everybody,’ Turner told ESPN at the time.
‘For anybody who’s trying to do both, if you just put in the sweat equity, you really go after it, that you can do both.
‘And it was kind of a full circle moment because my whole life it’s been, ‘choose.’ Choose football or choose music … But to just truly be able to live in that authentic part of myself and to be able to bring the totality of who I am to the surface was truly special.’
