Bruno Guimaraes has established himself as one of the best midfielders in the Premier League since joining Newcastle United.
The 28-year-old Brazilian has been linked with a move away from Newcastle over the years, and it seems that Manchester United are looking to secure his signature. According to Insiders, Manchester United have now agreed on personal terms with the player, and his camp is now pushing the Red Devils to secure an agreement with Newcastle.
It remains to be seen whether Newcastle is prepared to sanction the departure of their best midfielder. They are looking to build a team capable of competing in Europe regularly and fighting for trophies. The departure of the 28-year-old midfielder would be a huge blow for them. Also, selling him to a rival club could send the wrong message about their ambitions.
Guimaraes has a contract with Newcastle until 2028, and this could be Newcastle’s final opportunity to seek a substantial amount of money for him. He will have just one year left on his contract at the end of next season, and he will be able to move on for a nominal fee. It remains to be seen what Newcastle decides over the next few months. The Brazilian International could be attracted to the idea of moving into a bigger club. He has been an exceptional servant for Newcastle, but he deserves to compete at a higher level.
Meanwhile, Manchester United need more creativity and goals in the middle of the park. The Brazilian has 31 goals and 31 assists in 189 appearances for Newcastle. He is a seasoned Premier League performer and could make an immediate impact at Old Trafford. There is no doubt he would transform the Manchester United midfield.
