Manchester United boss Michael Carrick will hope to see his side return to winning ways when they face Everton on Monday.
The Red Devils won their first four matches under caretaker head coach Carrick, but were held to a 1-1 draw by West Ham United in their last outing.
United remain fourth in the Premier League table, though, and are on course to qualify for the Champions League next term.
Ahead of their visit to Everton, it has emerged that Manchester United are leading the race to sign a highly rated Brazilian.
As per Spanish outlet Fichajes, via TEAMtalk, the Manchester outfit are in pole position to sign Real Madrid star Endrick.
The report claims that the Premier League giants are one of several clubs interested in the forward, who is currently on loan at French side Lyon.
Endrick, 19, joined Real from Brazilian side Palmeiras back in 2024 and featured regularly during his debut season in Spain, making 22 La Liga appearances.

The forward fell out of favour under previous Real boss Xabi Alonso, though, and was sent on loan to French side Lyon in January, before Alonso was dismissed by Real Madrid.
He made an instant impact in France, scoring on his debut in a cup match against Lille, before netting a hat-trick against FC Metz in his second Ligue 1 appearance.
In total, the Brazilian has now scored five goals and provided one assist in six games for Lyon across all competitions, although he was also sent off in his last match, against Nantes.
The report claims that the teenager’s impressive form has prompted speculation that he could leave Real Madrid on a permanent basis this season, and Manchester United are said to have identified the player as a possible transfer target.
