Manchester United boss Michael Carrick will hope to see his side take a huge step towards Champions League qualification when they host Leeds United on April 13.
The Red Devils currently sit third in the Premier League table and are therefore on course for a top four finish, although it remains to be seen whether or not the Englishman will be appointed permanently; at present, the former England midfielder is United’s caretaker head coach.
Ahead of the visit of the Whites to Old Trafford, it has emerged that Manchester United are keeping tabs on a talented young Brazilian winger currently plying his trade in Germany.
As per TEAMtalk, Man United have been scouting Bayern Munich II star Maycon Cardozo and have identified the teenager as a player they would like to sign.
The report claims that the English side have sent scouts to watch the 17-year-old in action and have been hugely impressed with his performances.

Cardozo joined Bayern’s youth system back in 2024 and has since featured prominently for a number of their youth and development sides.
He made his senior debut for the Bundesliga champions in a league game against Borussia Monchengladbach in March, and has more recently featured against Union Berlin.
The talented winger – who can play on either flank – signed a new contract with Bayern last month, but it appears that he is already attracting interest from elsewhere.
Born in Brazil, Cardozo spent much of his childhood in Thailand but was spotted by Bayern’s global scouting network two years ago and joined the club soon after.
United’s scouts are said to have been ‘blown away’ by the teenager, who is on the fringes of Vincent Kompany’s first team squad.
