Marco Bezzecchi completes clean sweep to top final MotoGP Thai practice

Aprilia’s Marco Bezzecchi continued his dominance by leading the field in all three free practice sessions in Thailand.

The Rimini rider lapped an impressive 1.29.654s, a time that put him 0.071s clear of his nearest challenger, KTM rider Pedro Acosta.

Gresini rider Alex Marquez finished the final practice session as the top Ducati rider, closely followed by Trackhouse’s Ai Ogura.

Franco Morbidelli lapped fifth fastest, finishing marginally quicker than reigning MotoGP champion Marc Marquez.

Aprilia continued to dominate the classification charts as Raul Fernandez and Jorge Martin finished seventh and eighth, respectively.

Francesco Bagnaia claimed ninth spot, as Fabio Di Giannantonio rounded off the top 10.

Luca Marini finished as the reference Honda rider, followed by LCR rider Johann Zarco.

Brad Binder took 13th, followed by rookie Diogo Moreira and the second factory rider Joan Mir.

The Tech3 KTM duo of Maverick Vinales and Enea Bastianini finished 16th and 17th, respectively, ahead of all four Yamaha riders.

Fabio Quartararo finished down in 18th, followed by rookie Toprak Razgatlioglu, Pramac’s Jack Miller and factory rider Alex Rins in 21st.

Ducati test rider and Gresini stand-in Michele Pirro lapped the slowest time to take last.
