A day after the stunning reversal of the trade that would have sent All-Pro defensive end Maxx Crosby to the Baltimore Ravens, Crosby seemed to reaffirm his commitment to the Las Vegas Raiders.

In a post on X late Wednesday, Crosby wrote: “Everything Happens For A Reason. Believe Nothing You Hear & Half Of What You See. Im (sic) A Raider. I’m Back.”

It was the first public response from Crosby or anyone associated with the Raiders outside of the team’s 22-word statement Tuesday evening, announcing the Ravens had backed out of the trade.

Last week, the Raiders and Ravens agreed to the deal to send Crosby to Baltimore in exchange for first-round picks in 2026 and 2027. The deal was always pending a physical, which Crosby failed after he met with the Ravens on Tuesday. Crosby tore a meniscus in his left knee last October and recently underwent surgery to repair it. The injury was not expected to impact his 2026 season.

Though Las Vegas has confirmed Crosby will not be playing for the Ravens, it has yet to comment on his official status with the Raiders.
