Online sportsbook MeridianBet has agreed a deal with Beter to integrate its esports and sports content on its platform.
In a press release, the companies said that the deal will see MeridianBet receive Beter’s feed, which includes its ESportsBattle series and Setka Cup table tennis tournaments.
Zoran Milosevic, CEO of Meridianbet, stated, “BETER’s fast-betting content is in a league of its own, and we are thrilled to be offering ESportsBattle and Setka Cup to our players.
“Bettors today want fast-paced betting experiences that are action-packed and engaging, and that’s exactly what BETER provides through its content portfolio.
“This is a deal that brings a lot of thrilling content to our players, and that’s what makes it such an important partnership for us.”
Bettors Gain Access To 700,000 Events
MeridianBet primarily operates in Eastern Europe and Latin America. This will give bettors in key markets such as Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, and Peru access to Beter’s feed.
BETER provides 24/7 live streaming, real-time data, and odds for approximately 700,000 events annually, offering up to 50 markets per event.
It claims to give operators an average profit margin of more than 7.5%. In October, it also signed a deal with FIRST – Best in Sports, a sportsbook supplier.
Gal Ehrlich, CEO of BETER, said: “BETER has established itself as an in-demand provider of fast-betting content for esports and sports, and we are embarking on rapid expansion to bring our products and experiences to more operators and players than ever before.”
Furthers Expansion In Europe
Beter said one of the aims of the deal is to further the company’s presence in Europe. It follows a deal with Entain CEE, which gave users in Croatia and Poland access to its content.
Ehrlich added, “The deal with Meridianbet is an important step for BETER in our global expansion strategy and bolsters our presence in Europe. Meridianbet is exactly the kind of partner we look for – it fully understands that demand for fast-betting content is only going to rise and has taken action to meet player expectations today.
“We look forward to working closely with Meridianbet to help the operator unlock the full potential of our offering.”
In addition to its esports, Beter also offers coverage of Padel tennis, as well as official cricket tournaments and leagues worldwide. It is particularly active in Brazil, offering 35 operators its feed.
Profitability in the region may, however, be impacted by a recent gambling tax rise, which provides further need to diversify into other markets
