Tire giant, Michelin, rolls into 2026 with two new complete tire offerings in an already robust portfolio. Michelin’s Race-level rubber inspires its new Performance offerings in the Wild tire lineup, offering quality grip, robustness, and durability.

Both tire lineups are designed for gravity-oriented mountain biking and are available now.

New Michelin Performance Line Tires

Wild Enduro Performance Line

Michelin’s Wild Enduro Performance Line features a double-ply 33 TPI casing, providing a more consistent rebound and ride feel. They use both compounds—Magi-X and Gum-X—together for rolling efficiency and cornering grip.

The tires offer high puncture protection with a bead-to-bead shield helping to protect against sidewall punctures. Pinch flats are guarded against with Michelin’s Pinch Protection technology, allowing for higher levels of reliability in varying terrain.

Michelin’s new Wild Enduro Performance Line is offered in 29 and 27.5 options. They also offer a choice between their Mixed-Soft (MS) and Mixed-Hard (MH) compounds, as well as a rear-specific option. However, the rear-specific tire is available only in 29 x 2.4.

  • 27.5 x 2.5 Wild Enduro MH Performance / 1,220g
  • 27.5 x 2.4 Wild Enduro MS Performance / 1,165g
  • 29 x 2.5 Wild Enduro MH Performance / 1,260g
  • 29 x 2.4 Wild Enduro MS Performance / 1,215g
  • 29 x 2.4 Wild Enduro Rear Performance / 1,165g

E-Wild Performance Line

Similar to the Wild Performance Line, the new E-Wild Performance tires draw inspiration from Michelin’s E-Wild Racing lineup. But they’ve recognized the need for a high-quality tire that meets the demands of the everyday e-bike rider.

Again, Michelin uses a dual-compound based on its Gum-X and Magi-X technologies to maximize rolling efficiency while providing quality grip. They again use anti-pinch and anti-puncture protection to deliver a durable e-bike tire that allows for lower pressures for improved grip.

Michelin simplified its E-Wild Performance Line by offering front- and rear-specific tread patterns. Both have 29 and 27.5 offerings.

  • 27.5 x 2.6 E-Wild Front Performance / 1,200g
  • 29 x 2.4 E-Wild Front Performance / 1,215g
  • 29 x 2.6 E-Wild Front Performance / 1,295g
  • 27.5 x 2.6 E-Wild Rear Performance / 1,170g
  • 27.5 x 2.8 E-Wild Rear Performance / 1,295g
  • 29 x 2.6 E-Wild Rear Performance / 1,260g

Both the E-Wild Performance Line and the Wild Enduro Performance Line retail for $85.99. See more at michelinman.com/bicycle.
