No Surrender was quite a night, and it wasn’t short on surprises. You never know what can happen, especially when it comes to who will show up.
The Elegance Brand defended their Knockouts Tag Team Titles against Indi Hartwell and Xia Brookside. This was a fun match, and we almost saw a title change on a couple of occasions.
In the end, the Elegance Brand got the pinfall while Indi Hartwell’s foot was on the bottom rope. The referee didn’t see it, so the Elegance Brand retained their titles.
After the match, The Elegance Brand looked as if they were about to pull off a beatdown. Then Mickie James came out for the save.
TNA Wrestling fans hadn’t seen Mickie James since October, when she was inducted into the TNA Hall of Fame before Bound For Glory. Since No Surrender was in Nashville, Mickie made the short trip from her Tennessee home for the show.
We will have to see what happens next. Mickie James laid a beating on Ash By Elegance, and it looks as though a triple threat match could be in store for fans.
