Her opponent, Anastasia Potapova, has arguably had an even smoother path, not dropping a set so far. Potapova has been dominant from the baseline and clinical in closing out matches. This sets up a high-quality final between two in-form players. It promises to be a fascinating contest with momentum on both sides coming into this match.
Andreeva brings the edge in both serve and firepower compared to Potapova especially on the backhand side. Potapova is a solid baseliner, but that could play into Andreeva’s strengths in extended rallies.
