The Royal Barbados Police Force is requesting the public’s assistance in locating Shakira Hinkson, a 14-year-old girl who has been reported missing.
Shakira, a fourth-form student at Parkinson Memorial School, was last seen around 7:45 a.m. on Friday, October 4, near her home at #27 Meadowvale Heights, Prior Park, St. James.
Shakira is approximately five feet two inches tall, with a slim build and brown complexion. She has distinctive features, including a small head, large eyes, thin lips, thick eyebrows, a pointed nose, and a pointed chin. She has muscular arms and legs, is bow-legged, and has twice-pierced ear lobes. Shakira’s hair is short and twisted, and she has a visible scar on her right forearm.
She speaks with a Barbadian accent and is known to frequent the Fernihurst, Black Rock, and Oxnards Crescent areas in St. James. Shakira is also noted to have a history of running away from home.
